Understand your Budget
I always start things off with a detailed borrowing capacity assessment to help you understand your budget precisely. This enables me to provide you with concrete information about your borrowing power, deposit requirements and eligibility for different first home buyer loan options. I’ll also assess your eligibility for first home owner schemes and assist you with applying for these as part of the mortgage application process.
Learn How to Buy
Once we understand your budget, we have an in-depth discussion about the home buying process itself. I view my role in supporting you as a holistic one - helping you to buy a home is so much more than simply obtaining financing for your first home. I put a lot of time into educating you about the process and paperwork involved in purchasing a property, current market conditions and how to best position your offer.
Loan Comparison and Mortgage Education
When the time is right, I will present you with a shortlist of mortgage options and help you to make an informed decision. The options I present to you will be customised to your financial situation and only with lenders whose policies align to your situation. I will help you to understand your lending options and explain things like redraw vs offset, fixed vs variable interest rates and Lender’s Mortgage Insurance (LMI).
End-to-End Application Support
Once a decision is made, I will prepare and lodge the application to your lender of choice. As your mortgage broker, I will assist you with all the paperwork, liaise with the lender on your behalf and help navigate any questions or requirements that arise throughout the process. I’ll manage the entire process end to end to ensure a smooth experience from lodgement until settlement, keeping you informed every step of the way.

I’m a boutique operator who only works with a select number of clients so I can provide high touch support. As a real estate sales representative (RR79706), I can provide compliant support beyond finance. I’m always happy to discuss offer strategy and share my experience working across different conditions to help you negotiate an outcome. I can also provide you with Cotality reports to help you gauge value and provide a detailed history of your target property.
